I’ve been a customer of your service since I bought this home. I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how pleased I am with your service. Many times over the years I’ve had it put to me to get another service but I’ve always liked the Christmas post card I get from your company every year. It’s cheesy but altogether cool. I like that it’s got the truck on it and the fellas names who work the route. I’ve met some of your employees when they would come by my house to pick up the trash. They’ve always been polite, friendly and altogether customer friendly. They seem to understand that a company is only as good as the person you meet who represents that organization.
The reason I’m writing this today is about something that happened recently that really touched me and my wife. My spouse had a leg injury several weeks ago and is only now hobbling around. I guess one morning the fella riding on the back of the truck [a very neat thing to get to do] saw that she was having difficulty. He told her that he would put the can up by the house after he emptied it.
The last few times I’ve come home I’ve seen the can very neatly put back up by the garage door. I’ve got to say this is one of the nicest things I’ve ever seen a field person [of any trade/profession] do. It’s really been a very nice thing to see. It fosters my belief that humanity still has worth.
I work for a company where we send field technicians to people’s homes every day. At times those folks can be curt or downright nasty with the people they meet in the course of their duties. When a customer is upset about a poor interaction with one of our people I’m the poor so in so who takes the call. I know what good customer service is and sounds like. Your company is doing it right. I’m going to keep you as my carter. Please thank your employees for me. Thanks for you for your excellent service and I’ll be expecting my cheesy post card at Christmas….
